We absolutely love Montana School. There is a warm, family-like atmosphere, and our child genuinely enjoys going every day. We moved to Montana when our son was 3 years old, after a difficult experience at another local preschool where he cried every morning and didn’t want to go.

We stumbled upon Montana by chance and met Sigali, who welcomed us with open arms and offered so much support and understanding. We appreciated the school’s policy of allowing a month-long adaptation period, during which we could stay with our child. It made all the difference. We saw him fall in love with the place.

Now, a year later, he wakes up excited and asks to go to school in the morning—there’s nothing more heartwarming for a parent. The staff was also incredibly considerate of our vegan lifestyle, which made us feel even more included and supported.

We’re so grateful to be part of the Montana family and have truly enjoyed every moment there.

I have a three year old daughter and we’ve tried several preschools in the LA area and Montana Preschool is my absolute favorite. Not just that, because we travel a ton, I’ve put her in schools all over the world and Montana REALLY impressed us. It’s actually the first school I’ve had her stay for more than 4 hours. Sigali is incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, the teachers are SUPER creative and caring, I love the variety the space offers and the curriculum feels intentional and appropriate to their age. Every day is a new lesson about the world, about science, about nature, you name it. The teachers are always coming up with unique activities that I haven’t seen before. They put SO much care into their lessons, you really feel it. The other day, my daughter told me about a genius music composer named Wolfy Mozart 😆. I also love the outdoor space and the fact that there’s so much variety and intention built into the facility. Also a big fan of the lunch/snacks. I’m not usually one to participate as I’m a bit picky but I felt comfortable here that the meals provided were healthy, varied and home cooked. Super happy with this experience, I truly feel like they nurtured my daughter’s curiosity and they make a huge effort to know and support the kids’ individual interests. I think that’s part of the reason why my daughter settled in so well. Within the first few days, she was waving goodbye like it was no big deal. Can’t recommend it enough.

We love Montana preschool. My child has settled in wonderfully here. We love that they provide a warm, play based environment that allows our child to develop social skills. The teachers are lovely and I can tell our child thinks so too because whenever we go to do other lessons (swim etc.) she trusts teachers quickly because she’s had such a good experience with the teachers in preschool. It’s also great that they provide healthy snacks and meals, so no having to pack food each morning. We also like the ability to attend part-time and add more hours/days as our child got older and more comfortable if there is availability. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a preschool.

We’ve been part of Montana Preschool since it relocated to the Wilshire location in January 2021. Our son loves going to school each day and he often doesn’t want to leave at pick-up! The staff is warm, compassionate, and engaged. They do a fantastic job catering to each child’s individual interests, which has made such a difference in our son’s confidence and growth. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organized. They provide two nutritious meals and two snacks daily, which we really appreciate. The enrichment programs are another major plus, with offerings like music, hip hop, gymnastics, yoga, and soccer built into the weekly schedule.

We love Montana Preschool! It is walking distance from our home, we have met so many wonderful children and families, Sigali the Director is very creative and welcoming, she created a beautiful space for the kids to enjoy and explore every day. Our little one is excited and happy to go to school which is such a relief! The extracurriculars are so wonderful from soccer to yoga to theatre. A huge benefit is meals are provided and cooked in house. One major hook for us being that we don’t have family nearby is they offer parents night out 1x/month on a Saturday so we can have some us time!! There is certainly always room for growth and improvement as evolution takes place, but overall we are super happy and have enjoyed our experience!

Everything I ever wanted in a preschool. Clean, tremendously organized, beautiful curriculum focusing on daily crafts, learning rhythm and music, learning about cultures and all holidays, body awareness and balance, and positive affirmations wellness and yoga. Special recognition to Sigali who has designed and constructed this school from the ground up and made her dream into a reality. I immediately felt trust, confidence, and excitement and joy for my daughter’s preschool journey, from the moment we toured the school I knew it was the one. We love Nicholas the theater teacher, Teacher Erika of course. My child has matured so much and built great social skills and vocabulary. She has surprised us with so many new talents because of all of the opportunities she has had to explore her creative interests at montana preschool. I am strongly considering defering enrollment into TK so she can continue to thrive there as a 4 year old.

They truly go above and beyond to create a warm, nurturing, and safe environment where children can grow, learn, and have fun.

Absolutely thrilled with our experience at this preschool in Santa Monica! The space, both indoors and outdoors, is expansive and well-utilized with a garden, sandbox, swings, slides, drawing, and music areas, etc. that keep the kids engaged and happy. The curriculum is impressive, teaching kids to count, learn the alphabet, play instruments, and even yoga and soccer. There’s even a small basketball court! The staff are wonderfully caring and attentive, making us feel secure in our choice. Additionally, the daycare offers homemade food prepared daily, featuring a very varied and healthy menu that shows how much our children’s well-being is a top priority for the staff, and it’s a relief not having to worry about packing a lunch box anymore. Plus, the opening hours are perfect for working parents, and the fees are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

I can not recommend Montana Preschool highly enough. My daughter found a second home. The preschool is a product of pure love – genuine care, dedication, kindness, and warmth. This is the happy place!! For kids, it is a fun, safe, and nourishing haven to grow and learn with peers. The program is well thought out and has so much more to offer with enrichments. The teachers are loving and supportive. My daughter is an alumnus of Montana Preschool. We have such fond memories of growing up in this preschool. We had our choice of many others at the time. Looking back, I can only reflect on how happy I am we chose to grow up at Montana Preschool. In the mornings at drop off, I knew my daughter is left in a happy place where she was loved, well cared for and is and engaged in learning. Nutrition was very important to me. Knowing she had access to healthy organic nutritious meals and snacks was a blessing. I knew she was happy. When I’d show up for pickup, she never wanted to leave.

These early formative years are the building blocks to a happy healthy well-balanced childhood. I am incredibly grateful to the founder for providing such a healthy start in life for my daughter.

They are readily available to discuss our son’s progress and have been incredibly accommodating to our family’s needs. Having our son in this preschool for the past year has been a joyous journey. We’ve watched him grow, learn, and thrive in an environment that is both loving and stimulating.
